Chester South, 84, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the Carrington House in Iuka. Mr. South was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a lifelong trader and auctioneer, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, graveside at Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery near Florence, AL. Services will be officiated by Robert Wood. Interment will follow in Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by three sons, Charles South of Florence, AL, Ellis South of Iuka, and Alfred South and wife, Karen, of Florence, AL; one brother, Harold South of Florence, AL; two sisters, Shelby and Geneva, both of Florence, AL; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
