Graveside service for Mr.. Chester Lee Jordan 59 of Decatur will be 11:00 am, Saturday , May 15, 2021 at Decatur City Cemetery with Bishop Carter Videau, officiating. Public viewing will be held Friday, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Chester Lee Jordan was born to the late James Mitchell Jordan and Clarie Hick Jordan in Jefferson County, Birmingham, Alabama on February 17, 1962.  Chester Lee Jordan departed his life, Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Chester was also known as CJ, OG and Tin Man Bling Bling.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and sung in the church choir. He would sing for Judge Cook. If he was in the mood, he would sing for everyone.

Chester was preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters.

Chester is survived by: his wife, Maggie Mosley Jordan; one son, Tyrus Harrison of Birmingham, AL; one grandson, Tyreze Harrison; one brother, James Jordan of Louisville, KY; step-sons, Daryle Mosley and James Mosley of Decatur and Brandon Mosley of Huntsville, AL; step-daughters, Inezza Mosley and Angela Mosley of Decatur, AL; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
