A Celebration of life of our beloved Husband, Father, and grandfather, Chester E. Berry Sr., lovingly called Sonny will be at 2:00 PM, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Chet Berry officiating; Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born January 11th, 1937, one of eight children, born to Chester Ira and Vera Berry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Randy and Haskel Berry.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Laura Anne Oaks Berry; daughter Lisa (Kevin) Meherg; son Chet (Pam) Berry; daughter Cindy Berry Strother; grandchildren, Christina and Luke Meherg, Emily (Caleb) Vandagriff, Kalan Krueger, Heather (Charlie) Murphy, Bobbie, and Tyler Atkinson; siblings; Robert, Donald, William, Henry, and Karen, eight great-grandchildren, and a cat named Sheba.
I cannot talk about family without mentioning the Walkers: Danny, Tina, Ethan, Caroline, and Caleb, who are family by love versus blood.
