Cheryl Layne Partin was born Christmas Eve 1948.  She passed this life
Cheryl is survived by 2 daughters:  Galinda Bonner and Katherine (Roy) Sanchez of Estill Springs and 6 grandchildren, all of Estill Springs, who were the light of her life: Alexus Nard, Bishop Nard, Chloe Nard, Olivia Williams, Victoria Barrientos and Arrow Bonner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Partin, her Momma and Daddy:  Charles and Elaine McCormick, 2 brothers Rodney McCormick and David McCormick and a sister Penny Clendenon.  Surviving brothers are Pat and June McCormick, Mike and Ann McCormick and sister in law Flora McCormick all of McMinnville.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who adored their Chi Chi.
Cheryl loved life and will be most remembered for being inappropriate, flirting outrageously and never meeting a stranger.  She was the biggest fan of each of her grandchildren and would cheer loudly at all events they participated in.  She worked for years as the Head Florist at Kroger in Tullahoma, retired and began a sewing career, where not only did she create apparel, she bossed everyone around, especially Gerald. She loved to travel, eat out and be sassy, she never turned down a car ride or trip.  She never met a piece of chicken she didn’t like. She loved dancing, singing off key and inappropriate bathroom breaks.  Cheryl took every opportunity to show off her one and only tattoo, which was placed in the most inappropriate spot.  She was such a character!!  Everyone who met her loved her, laughed with her and remembered her.  She will be greatly missed by all especially her family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday Nov 1, 2022 between the hours of 4-8 p.m. An informal service will be held with music, story telling and love on Wednesday Nov 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
