Cheryl Evelyn Smallwood, age 69, of Florence, Alabama, died, Sunday, November 13, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, November 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Walston Cemetery. Pastor Doc Shell and Minister Darren English will be officiating.
She is a member of Life Song Church and was a long time member of Christ Chapel. She enjoyed old cars and loved the outdoors.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Grigsby, Jonathan Grigsby, Adam Smallwood, Will Beadle, Dustyn Willis, Josh Daniels, and Heath Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Smallwood; son, Mark Grigsby (Jana) of Killen; step-daughter, Bethany Darnell of Sheffield; step-son, Adam Smallwood of Tuscumbia; sister, Claudeen Bell; and nieces Susan Shelton, Sherri Pate, Lisa Stone, and Debbie Sprouse; sister, Jeannie Seay (Wayne) ; niece, Ashley and husband Will; sister, Kaye Behel (Jimmy) and niece Summer Behel; grandchildren, Jonathan Grigsby and girlfriend Caitlin Marsh, Joshua Grigsby and girlfriend Mandy Taylor, step-grandchildren; Katelyn Darnell and Christian Darnell , honorary grandchildren, Shannon Dutton and Nicole Campbell.
