Cheryl Day Nuckols, 70 of Empire, passed away November 30, 2025.
Cheryl was a loving mother, sister and aunt. She was a loving member of her community. She worked with the local food banks to help those in need. She loved her animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nuckols; her parents, A.J. and Betty Day, her brothers, Danny and Michael Day and sister-in-law, Joan Day.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Nuckols; brother, Mark Day, niece, Valerie Day, nephew, Jeff Day, great-nieces, Brooke Isbell and Taylor Day, sisters-in-law, Charlotte Nuckols and Daisy Allred, special friend, Mary Akers, along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday Dec. 4, 2025 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday 10-11 am.
