Cheryl Ann Smith, 62, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 1, 1957 in Indiana to Kenneth E. Smith and Barbara Piper Smith

A Memorial Service for Ms. Smith will be held on January 4, 2020 at Belle Mina United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Scott Kowerduck officiating.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Smith and wife Andrea and Joey Smith; mother, Barbara Smith; sister, Piper Bakrevski; brother, Ken Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Kyra, Owen, Patrick, Ashlynn and Blake; step grandchildren, William and Alexis; great grandchild, Spencer; step great grandchild, Brayden; numerous other family and friends.
