Cheryl Ann Shivers Cansler, age 62, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at her residence.
Cheryl was a very outgoing, very loving, kind and giving lady. She was a big kid herself who was always fun and hilarious, always putting everyone else first. She was sometimes called “Squirrel”, but her favorite name was “Nana”. She deeply loved her family and the grandchildren and leaves them many wonderful memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Vivian Ann (Dyer) Shivers; brother, Mike Shivers; sister, Teresa Clark; and several grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Buell Keith Cansler, Jr. (wife, Kara), Jimmy Cameron, Joshua Cameron; grandchildren, Cheyenne Talmadge, Natalie Cansler, Kesslie Cameron, Kolton Cameron, Taylor Cameron, Zaylah Cameron, new baby, Rorieann; siblings, Cyndee Patterson (Doug), Gina Cansler, Andy Shivers (Peggy); special four-legged baby, Rusty; and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Witness Outreach Church in Spruce Pine. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Spruce Pine Cemetery with Bro. Brian Scott officiating the service. (In case of rain the service will be at the church).
The pallbearers will be Keith Cansler, Jimmy Cameron, Joshua Cameron, Doug Patterson, and Andy Shivers.
