After a number of health issues, Chasity Ann Fretwell, age 50, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Fort Worth, Texas on Monday, May 25th, 2026. Chasity was born on June 14th, 1975 in Decatur, Alabama to Dr. Barry Fretwell and Anita Borden Fretwell.
Chasity was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Janette Borden; grandparents, Lincoln and Katherine Fretwell, Dan and Morine Borden, and John and Mildred Clark.
Chasity is survived by her father, Dr. Barry Fretwell; stepfather, Bryan Clark; brother, Hestin Clark; sister, Jenna Sowell (Patrick); nephew, Owen Sowell; niece, June Sowell; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
After graduating from East Limestone High School in 1993, Chasity worked at Crestwood Hospital and remained in the East Limestone Community for many years before moving to Fort Worth, Texas. There will be a graveside service at Isom’s Chapel Cemetery with Bill Perkins officiating on June 6th, 2026 at 12:00 PM where she will be laid to rest beside her mother. Please, dress casual.
