Charlsa Lee Beasley age 82 of Athens, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care. Mrs. Beasley was born May 21, 1931 to William L. Williams and Bernice Grimmet Williams.
Services will be Monday, April 7, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. A. Ray Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Beasley was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Bernice Williams; husband, Bill Beasley; son, Tommy Beasley; sister, Bernice “Sweetie” Kraus; son-in-law, Larry Haney.
Survived by a daughter, Diane Haney of Athens; son, Billy Beasley and wife, Cathy of Ardmore, AL; four grandchildren, Laura Purner and husband, David of Athens, Sherry Morrison and husband, Wayne, Jason Haney and wife, Meagan both of Huntsville and Will Beasley of Lawrenceburg, TN; five great-grandchildren, Kristen Pepper, William Purner, Walton Purner all of Athens, Cody Beasley and Beth Beasley both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one nephew, David Kraus of Scottsboro, AL and several cousins.
