Charlotte WiserCharlotte Wiser, 90 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, April 16th, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Wiser was born on March 3rd, 1932, to Clifford and Martha Wheelhouse Brothers.

Mrs. Wiser is survived by her children James Wiser (Dena) of Athens, Martha Hall of Athens, John Wiser (Lynette) of Jennings, FL, Paul Wiser (Goldie) of Morriston, FL, Mary Fields (Doug) of Athens, Julie Craig of Charlotte, NC, and Anna Terry (Dennis) of Athens; grandchildren Martha Ann, Melissa Bozeman (Keith), James Edward Wiser (Maryandra), Brian Hall, Emily Hampton (Dustin), Jason Wiser, Joshua Wiser (LeeAnn), Kaila, Jacob Wiser, Jennifer Lacasse (Ian), Jessica, Jacquelyn Fielder (Kevin), Douglas Fields, Brandy Bowman (Kirk), Hunter Terry (Jackie), and Casey Terry; 30 great-grandchildren; and brother Harold Brothers (Karen) of San Angelo, TX.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Windell Wiser; and brother Clifford Brothers, Jr.

Charlotte was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Athens, Alabama. She was happily married for 65 years to her husband, Windell Wiser. She supported him in his work as a minister of the gospel of Christ. She epitomized the Virtuous Woman found in Proverbs 31. She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, beautiful flowers, playing piano, singing, quilting, and crocheting.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wiser will be Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with E.R. Hall, Steve Klein, and Tommy Thrasher officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00-1:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Wiser, Josh Wiser, Douglas Fields, Ruben Hall, Phillip Wiser, and Hunter Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be James Edward Wiser, Keith Bozeman, Dustin Hampton, Jacob Wiser, Ian Lacasse, Kevin Fielder, Brian Hall, and Kirk Bowman.
