Charlotte Sept, 71, resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 

Graveside services for Mrs. Sept will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 20th at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 – 12:45 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.   Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born January 20, 1950 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Shirley May Cook Washington and the late James Colbert and wife of the late Eugene Sept. She worked as an RN/Phlebotomist for Maury Regional over 30 years. She loved spending time with her family, watching movies and enjoying banana popsicles. A well-known cook, she was best known for her macaroni and cheese.

 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters: Tashaun Sept, Trina (Jeffrey) Lockridge and Tonya (William) Smith, all of Columbia; stepson: Lamario Simms of Minnesota; sisters: Erania Taylor of Columbia and Jhatayan Jackson of Wisconsin; brother: Graylin Washington of Columbia; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: William Washington, Jr.
