  Mrs. Charlotte Ann Gilbreath, age 73 of Boaz, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2021, after a courageous battle with dementia.

Service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Two o’clock p.m. at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Ed Cash officiating. Interment will follow in the Belcher’s Gap Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gilbreath was born on November 9, 1947, to Joel T. & Virgie Duvall Bonds. She graduated from Douglas High School and began her working career at the H.D. Lee Plant where she met and married the love of her life, Ronnie Gilbreath, on Valentine’s Day in 1969. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Charlotte was a talented artist and seamstress. She was a devout Christian and faithfully studied the word of God. She was a sweet gentle soul and to know her was to love her.

Mrs. Gilbreath is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Sonya & Tony Baird of Boaz, Grandchildren: Cody Baird, Casey Baird, and Carlie Baird, Great Grandchildren: Brantley Baird and Harper Childress, Brother: Van Bonds of Albertville and Sister: Rita Berry of Albertville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Joel & Virgie Bonds and Brother: David Bonds. The family would like to extend Special Thanks to Shephard’s Cove Hospice and all caregivers. Very special thanks and appreciation to Wanda Mashburn, Carol Bearden and Betty Alverson.

Pallbearers will be Tony Baird, Cody Baird, Casey Baird, Shane Gilbreath, Derik Bright, and Ray Bonds.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
