Charlotte Ann Busby, age 79, of Decatur, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
She was born July 27, 1946 in Decatur, Alabama to William McDonald and Myrtle Sullivan McDonald.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Busby; son, Steven Busby; sister, Janice Davis; brother, Billy McDonald; and brother, Johnny McDonald.
She is survived by her son, Rodger Maples (Tonya); son, Tony Maples; brother, Jimmy McDonald (Kathy); sister, Sandra Miller (Sonny); sister, Susan Minor (Mike); several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 12:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marshall Turner Officiating. Visitation will be Friday night from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
