Charline Ruth Norris, age 77, of Grant, Alabama, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville, Alabama. She was born on April 4, 1947, in St. Francis, Kansas, to Dave and Stella Konkel.

Charline graduated from West High School in Denver, Colorado, and went on to build a beautiful life with her family. She married Bobby Norris on September 16, 1969, and they shared 38 years together filled with love and devotion.

Charline was known for teaching Bible classes, cooking, sewing, and her unending kindness toward everyone she met. She was deeply committed to her church, her family, and especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Charline worked as a cook at the Mayfair Daycare Center, where she cared for children with warmth and love. Later, she began a career as a quality control technician at Sanmina Corporation, where she ultimately retired after years of dedicated service.

Charline is survived by three sisters: Nadine Ebert (Ron), Sherry Konkel, and Kathy Coburn; four daughters: Christine Garner (James), Janell Satterfield (Kevin), Jeannette Wilson (Lee), and Rachel Hastings (Mark); and eight grandchildren: Alex Satterfield (Abby), Luke Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Ella Satterfield, Hannah Hastings, Heath Wilson, Seth Satterfield, and Ben Hastings.
Charline is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Stella Konkel, and her beloved husband, Bobby Norris.

A funeral service will be held on January 14, 2025, at Alder Springs Church of Christ in Albertville, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm.

Interment will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alder Springs Church of Christ.
