Graveside service for Charlie Rogers age 79 of Falkville will be Monday, December 12, 2022 at 3:00pm at Falkville City Cemetery with Rev. Scott Sessions officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Charlie, who was born February 22, 1943 in Cullman, Alabama to Battie Rogers and Audie Elizabeth Evans Rogers, died on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home.

He and his wife, Tina had owned and operated Charlie’s Food Mart in Falkville for 27 years before retiring. He was a member of the Cullman Nazarene Church, the Falkville Masonic Lodge and the Falkville Jaycee’s. They operated the Stuckey’s at Lacon back in the 1970’s.  Charlie had many things that he loved to do; golf, fish, cook, sports, Alabama Football, woodworking and making money. But perhaps he was best known for his barbeque and his special gift of telling a good story. He and Tina always said “they were so blessed to have such a wonderful family and great friends”.
