Charlie Ray Hunt, 59, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Brother James Lee officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Myrtle Hunt; sisters, Mot Pickens, Polly Kilpatrick, Sherry Pendergrass; brothers, Bill and Charles Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Davis Hunt; son, Christopher “Bubba” Hunt (Sabrina); daughters, Angie Lawson (Kenny), Tricia Green (Bobby), Misty Phillips (Howard), Kathy Solley; brother, Frank ; sisters, Earline , Doris , Libby, Pat , Teresa; grandchildren, Brittney and Alana Reeves, Chad and Dustin Phillips, Shelby and Dylan Hunt; great grandchild, Gracelynn Reeves.
Active pallbearers will be Phillip Kilpatrick, David Kilpatrick, Greg Green, Randall Bevis, Dewayne Pickens, and Marty “Jo Jo” Bevis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Hunt, Brother Bobby James, Keith Bevis and David Pickens.
