On Tuesday November 2, 2020, Charles William Simpson of Guntersville, born 1951, passed away at age 69. He is preceded by his father and mother, William Carlos and Wilie-Mae Simpson and his daughter Lisa Carol Simpson. He will always be remembered by his wife of fifty years, Carolyn Simpson as well as his brothers Johnny (Sheila) and Carl (Kathy). He is lovingly remembered by his son Matthew (Talesia); son Michael (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Hunter, Isaac and Bentley.
Everyone who knew Charles would have considered him like family. His witty comments always made a room smile. And his kind demeanor always reassured those around him. He was a talented musician, woodcarver and knife-maker.
Services will be held graveside on Thursday November 5th at Bethsaida in Boaz. Pastor Stan Broadus and Carrey Sims officiated.
