Charles William “Billy” Peters, 76, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence. He was a retired truck driver for Monarch Tile and he was of the Catholic religion.
Visitation was last evening from 5-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be today, Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will follow in Canerday Cemetery.
Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mae Peters; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Carol June Myrick Peters; sons, Keith Peters (JoAnn), Rodney Peters (Joanna), Joey Peters (Theresa); daughters, Teresa Garrison (Ed), Toni Moore (Tim), and DeAnna Peters; sisters, Anne Bowling (James), Angela Garrison (Gary), and Mary Frances McDonald; grandchildren, Amy Garrie (John), Monika Brooks (Drew), Brock Peters (Tessa), Anna, Adam, and Katlyn Peters, and Brianna Williamson (Matthew), Carmelo Anthony Parasiliti, II, Brian I. Parasiliti, Jr., Brandon Balentine (Lindsey), and Matthew Balentine; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Brandon Balentine, Matthew Balentine, Adam Peters, Brian I. Parasiliti, Jr., Brock Peters, and Carmelo Anthony Parasiliti, II.
Drew Brooks and Matthew Williamson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
