Charles Wayne Thomas, age 83, Hamilton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 05, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton, Alabama on Friday, July 02, 1937 to Claborn J. Thomas and Mattie Holmes Thomas.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Friday, May 07, 2021 at Marion County Funeral Home, the service will follow at 2 p .m. in the chapel with Ric Chambless officiating and burial at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.J. and Mattie Thomas; brothers, Bernice Thomas, James Thomas; sister, Maxine Nix.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of sixty one years, Deloris Sue Thomas; daughters, Laurie Parker and Sherrie Young; grandchildren, Jessica Hughes, Jameson (Hillary) Parker, Jordan Parker, Kolbie Young, Katelyn Young; great-granddaughter, Kyla Parker; and a host of friends.
