Charles Wayne Brown, 80, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, MS. He was born in Belmont, MS to James Lunsford and Virginia Lowery Brown. He loved being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his family. Mr. Brown was retired from the US Air Force. He was passionate about old cars, attending car shows and cruising the coast as well as all college sports. He was an avid bowler winning many awards.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 1, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Rocky Puffer officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three children, Charles Chadwick Brown, Christopher Wayne Brown (Rhonda) and Mary Elizabeth Brown Puffer (Rocky); grandchildren, Katlin Moss (Korry), Spencer Brown (Melissa), Gunnar Brown (Breina), Chase Brown, Shelby Brown, Kayla Felton (Brian), Brittany Brown, Cody Brown, Cara Gillon (Hunter), Addison Puffer (Wesley Hughen) and Rocky Adam Puffer and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Emily Nicole Brown and six siblings.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Adam Puffer, Brian Felton, Gunnar Brown and Hunter Gillon.
Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
