Charles W. Barnett, age 84, of Leoma, TN passed away peacefully Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his home. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and retired from H. B. Brink & Company. Mr. Barnett served his country honorably eleven years in the Merchant Marines and four years in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Harrison and Gladys Gower Barnett; his loving wife of many years, Margaret Barnett; one sister, Jewell Wilburn; one son, Benny Barnett; and one step-son, Aaron Tease.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 28, 2017, with Phil Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
