Charles Tracey Sheets, age 47, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at home in Evansville, Indiana. Tracey was born on March 6, 1970, in Troy, Alabama to Charles Junior and Alene (Bundy) Sheets. Tracey attended Zion Chapel High School and graduated in 1988. On July 2, 1990, he married Julie Ann Chamberlain in Muscle Shoals. Together they had two children.
Tracey lived his life through the pursuit of simple pleasures. He found joy and solace in striking up conversations with strangers, friends, and family, coming to the aid of those around him and spending time with his numerous friends. His kindness will be fondly remembered.
Tracey is survived by his son, Spencer Trajan, and his daughter, Summer Nicole, both of Evansville, Indiana; his parents, Charles Junior Sheets and Alene (Bundy) Sheets, of Troy, Alabama; his sister, Anne (Andy) Hamm, of Banks, Alabama; his brother, Jimmy Sheets, of Troy, Alabama; a niece; nephew; and former spouse.
Funeral services will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Alabama at 11 a.m. today with burial at Center Ridge Cemetery.
