Charles Thomas Williams passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 77 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his sister, Martha Williams of Eloy, Arizona; 2 daughters, Vivian Kilgore (husband, Hemrick Kilgore) and Victoria Williams of Jacksonville Florida. He was blessed with 3 grandsons, Johnny Garcia, Michael Walker and Coby Walker of Colorado. In addition, he is survived by his lifelong partner, Carol Campbell of Huntsville and her son, Christropher Campbell (wife, Tresa) as well as their 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Chuck served in the United Stated Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Illinois on June 20, 1971, with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science and pursued a career in Social Services. In later years, he studied computer design and worked in the Aerospace industry for Boeing, as well as other Aerospace Companies designing the blue prints for aircraft. Aircraft design was his preferred employment. He also worked on design for the Space Station. For a short time, he worked at Crises Center in Huntsville, Alabama. After retiring, he devoted his time to volunteering for Meals on Wheels, as well as being instrumental in starting and running a group for individuals with addictions. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandsons, never meant a stranger, loved hiking and biking. and he was an advent reader.

Memorial services will be held at Holmes Street United Methodist Church located at 501 Holmes Avenue on April 13, 2024, at 11:00am with a greeting time at 10:30.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Holmes Street United Methodist Church in his name.
