Funeral service for Charles Stewart, 69, will be Monday, March 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Pitts officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart died on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 11, 1956, in West Virginia, to Ralph Sherman Stewart and Louise Elnor Goff Barto.
Charles was employed by Decatur Morgan Home Health as a Registered Nurse, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and was a member of the Holy Church of Christ in Hartselle. He loved Gospel Music, and enjoyed yardwork, planting flowers, and decorating for Holidays. He was a very giving person.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bob and Louise Barto, a sister: Robin Henderson, and brothers: Robert and Delbert Barto.
