Charles Russell Jackson, age 95 of Franklin, TN passed away, September 16, 2018. Russell was a lifelong resident of Williamson County. He worked for Clarity Region Company and then worked for himself, along with being a tobacco farmer. Russell had a passion for playing the guitar and creating music. He loved his family and devoted himself to his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas and Josephine Poteete Jackson; siblings, Pat Jackson, Buford Jackson, Lorene Jackson, Lucille Childress, Pauline Howell, and Elizabeth Croskell. Russell is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lizzie Bagsby Jackson; sons, James (Linda) Jackson and Terry (Maria) Jackson; grandchildren, Misty (Joey) Roberson, Crystal (Gary Hicks) Pevahouse, Thomas Jackson, Brandon (Leslie) Jackson and Jacqueline (Michael) Bell; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation being held 3 hours prior; Pastor Allen Broughton officiating.
