Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Charles Russell Collins, 54, of Boaz, AL, who passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Mr. Collins served in the United States Military and was a registered nurse in Marshall County for many years. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel with burial to follow in High Point Cemetery. Tony Gaskin will officiate. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will visit with friends Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Dawson Collins, father, Trammell Jeffrey Collins, brothers, Billy McCollum, Michael Collins. He is survived by his cousin, Mary Slaton, uncles, Rick McCollum (Kathy), Ken McCollum, best friend, Christi Wissler (Mike), life long friend, Tony Gaskin, and a host of cousins, coworkers from Marshall Medical Centers and beloved friends. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
