Charles Ronald Ridings, 68, formerly of Advance, died recently at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt, Tennessee, after a long struggle with cancer. Ridings was a graduate of Delta High School, and SEMO. He lived many years in Memphis and was an environmental health and safety manager for a company there.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, Margaret Ridings and a daughter, Rachel Ridings Horton and two grandchildren.
He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war and will be interred at the Bloomfield Military Cemetery.
