Charles Robin Newman, 92, of Plainfield IL passed away April 4, 2024 of heart and kidney failure. Graveside services will be held at Mary’s Chapel Cemetery at 1 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Charles worked 35 years for General motors and retired in 1988. He was also an avid golfer and a huge Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by one son Tom Newman of Plainfield Il.; one brother David Newman of Ripley; two sisters Jean Cannon of Ripley and Joyce Jessup of Covington.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Louise Newman; his son Mike Newman; his granddaughter Nicole Mcintosh; two sisters Eva Sue Gay and Letha Jewel Floyd and one brother Billy Newman.
