Charles Rickey Robinson, of Holly Pond, Alabama, entered into the presence of our Lord on Tuesday morning, April 16, 2024, at the age of 79. Mr. Robinson was born in Muskogee County, Georgia, on August 15, 1944, to the late Otis Lee and Louis Elaine Whitaker Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was employed by SCI for many years working in telecommunications as a commercial electrician. Rickey was married to the love of his life, Mary Faye Bright Robinson, for 59 years. Together they worshipped their Savior at Edison Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where Rickey served as an Elder. Rick and Faye were inseparable. Mr. Robinson was a gun enthusiast and he and Faye enjoyed going to local pawn shops together. Often times they would take the treasures they brought home and disassemble and then reassemble them together. A very loving and gentle husband, Rick was wonderful to Faye. Their love story was one only imagined by most and Mrs. Robinson treasures the many wonderful memories they have made together.

Those surviving Mr. Robinson includes his beloved wife, Faye Robinson; brother, Gerald Lee Robinson; sister, Louise Elaine Smith; dear friends, Brian, and Cathy Lodge; his shih-poo, Sherlock; and Watson, the little orange family cat.

Friends are invited to visit with the Robinson family on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, from 1 p.m., until services begin. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with Pastor Daryl Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Edison Chapel Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Robinson family and our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Faye at this time.
