Pastor Charles Richard “Rick” Flippo, passed away March 3, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 5 at New Horizon Chapel with Bishop Jerry Cox and Overseer Michael Steptoe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Pastor Rick was born, October 23, 1955 at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Flippo and his grandparents, Elmer and Gladys Estes, and Rev. lGeorge and Willie Lee Flippo.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Flippo; daughter, Kimberly Steptoe and husband Robert; granddaughters, Maria, Shay, Laycee and Savannah Steptoe; father, Charles Flippo; sister, Debra Hart and husband Walter, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
