A Memorial Service for Charles Ray Johnson will be Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church, Hwy 55 W, Falkville. We would like to invite all of his friends and family to join us as we celebrate his life. Jerry Johnson and Randy Ashley will speak and we will welcome guests to share a thought or funny story about Ray. This will be a casual affair.
Mr. Johnson, age 73, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born October 10, 1945, in Morgan County to Howard Alton Johnson and Jimmie L. Holt Johnson. He was employed by Solutia prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sue Johnson Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hammon Johnson; one son, Chuck Johnson (Nancy); two daughters, Lane Johnson Montgomery (Cameron) and Dinah Johnson (Brad); two brothers, Alton Johnson (Marietta) and Solomon Johnson (Eula); one sister, Deborah Jones (Dan); four grandchildren, Tucker Montgomery (Keirstyn), Sarah Johnson, Katie Johnson and Lily Rae Sawyer; one great-grandchild, Kolten Montgomery.
