Funeral services for Charles Ray Davis, 72, of Vinemont are Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cullman Funeral Home; Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating, with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Mr. Davis passed away at his home Monday, May 7, 2018. He was born in Mobile, Ala. February 18, 1946. Ray was a 1964 graduate of Cleveland High School in Blount County. He served in the United States Marine Corps and attained his BS in Business from the University of Montevallo. He enjoyed his family, his dog, fishing and the outdoors. Ray worked in the banking/financial services industry for 40 years until he retired. He was a member of Flint Creek Baptist Church in Vinemont, Ala.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice Lee Davis; son, Tyson (Kris) Davis; grandchildren, Greer Davis and Adi Reece Davis; and mother-in-law, Wynell Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. Davis and Mary Mildred Dutton; and son, Michael Todd Davis.
