Charles Randell Terry – Obituary

Funeral for Charles Randell Terry, 83, of Town Creek will be Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Brother Larry Crumpton officiating. Burial will be in John C. Terry Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Terry, who died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born February 27, 1930, in Lawrence County to Paul Terry and Mary Terry Waltz. He retired as a furnace operator from Fruehauf. He was a Methodist. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Yvonne Vines.

Survivors include his wife, Letha Halbrooks Terry; three daughters, Mary Paulette Sherrill and Stephen of Town Creek, Rhonda K. McElroy and Ronnie of Bowling Green, Ky., and Rita Fay Weaver and Bennie of Falkville; four sisters, Betty Jo Randolph of Town Creek, Katie Hill and Peggy Terry, both of Moulton, and Linda Kingsley and Don; three brothers, Dan Terry and Shalia of Town Creek, Dwight Terry and Wanda of Moulton and Nathaniel “Hop” Terry and Dean of Muscle Shoals; five grandchildren, Russell McElroy and Nikki of Madison, Miranda McElroy Isbell and Todd of Muscle Shoals, Jonathan Sherrill and Susan and Luke Sherrill and Heather, all of Town Creek, and Vanessa Sherrill Johnson and Patrick of Hartselle; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Russell McElroy, Jonathan Sherrill, Luke Sherrill, Patrick Johnson, Todd Isbell and Randy Hill.
