Charles Rae Whitlow, Jr., known as “C.J.”, passed away Saturday February 18, 2017 in an automobile accident. He was a U.S. Navy veteran; a graduate of Curry High School; he was an avid Alabama football fan and loved hiking, camping and fishing.
Funeral services will be Saturday February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Empire Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Whitlow.
Survivors include his son, Brodie Paul Whitlow; mother, Teresa Prince (Ronnie); father, Charles Whitlow (Joanne); siblings, Jennifer Core (Skylar), Teanna Whitlow (Joe Monczyn), Felishia Tatum (Tyler Pate), Angel Whitlow and Josh Whitlow; grandparents, Linda and Ken Haynes and Bill Whitlow; nieces and nephews, Madison, Xander, Carson and Cason; several other family members and many friends.
