Charles P McCaghren (Charlie Mac), 82, of Somerville passed away May 8, 2017. Graveside services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Somerville with the Reverend Tim Keenum officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Charlie Mac was a Mason and a Shriner. He was an avid fisherman. His greatest accomplishment was coaching for the Decatur Dixie Youth Baseball League.
He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Eloise McMinemon McCaghren, His survivors include: a daughter, Belinda Kustan (Jack) and son, Joel McCaghren: his five grandchildren, Catrina McGahan (Keita), Dylan McCaghren, Colby Giers,Jarrod Giers (Alexis) and Jackie Kustan,his great grandson, Griffin McGahan, his brother, Howell McCaghren (Sue) and his sister Dorothy Jarvis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Decatur Dixie Youth Baseball League.
