Charles Oscar Kirkland

Charles died peacefully November 28th with family around him.

He is survived by Bettye, his wife of almost 71 years; daughter, Carol and son-in-law, Clay Morgan of Muscle Shoals, AL; and grandchildren, Sarah and Benjamin.

Charles grew up in Laurel, MS, was an Army veteran having served in Korea, and had a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College. He spent his career working in computer programming and IT.
