Charles Orville “COB” Bowling, age 67, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS following a lengthy illness. He retired from Tishomingo County Career and Technical Center where he taught Automotive Mechanics. He enjoyed teaching and loved his students. He loved to travel, work on cars, cook, and getting together with family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dennis, where he taught Sunday school. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bowling; his daughter, Ginger Bowling; his sons, Christopher Bowling (Beth) and Blake Bowling (Haley); his stepdaughters, Crystal South (Adam) and Suprina Johnson (Chris); his grandchildren, Nathan Bowling, Madison Bowling, Addison Howell, and Ethan Johnson; his sister, Emily Terry; his brothers, Wayborn Bowling (Debbie) and David Terry (Yonna); and his parents, Martha Sue Terry and O.J. Bowling. He is preceded in death by his stepmother, JoAnn Bowling; his stepfather, James “Bill” Terry; his brother, Jimmy Terry; and his grandparents, Wallace and Faye Anglin and Troy and Ethel Bowling. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka is entrusted with his arrangements. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka with services at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Bro. Jerry George. Burial will be at New Prospect Cemetery in Iuka. Pallbearers will be Ricky Donald, Bill Sells, Wallace Wilson, Harold Kay, Adam South, Chris Johnson, Nathan Bowling, and Ethan Johnson.
