Charles Michael “Mike” Tucker, 75, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 23, 1948, to the late Charlie Clomer Tucker and the late Nell Pearce Tucker. Mike worked as a mechanic and fabric cutter. He was a loving, devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He was a Christian and professed his faith in Christ. He enjoyed watching Ole Miss football, Atlanta Braves baseball, and picking his guitar, especially with his baby brother. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday January 4, 2024, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jarrell and Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Castleberry Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Tucker; daughters: Angela (David) Williams of Red Bay, AL and Pam (Tony) Moore of Fulton; grandsons: Preston Moore, Drake Moore, Tripp Moore, Dalton Williams, Cody Williams; sister, Jackie (John) Little of Fulton; host of nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Barry Tucker; sisters: Rita Tucker Holmes, Adonis Tucker Coker; father-in-law, Billy Lindsey, mother-in-law, Martha Lou Lindsey.
Pallbearers are Shane Little, Brent Little, Shannon Tucker, Brett Pounds, Jeff Milam, Jason Milam, Nicholas Milam, and Ryan Gray.
Grandsons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The family would like to thank North Mississippi Hospice and Dr. Steven Nabers of Nabers Medical Clinic of Red Bay for the best care given to Mike.
