Charles Leonard Leadford age 57, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, August 7th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Friday, August 8th at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jack Flowers and Brother Perry Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shannon Leadford, Chandler Phillips, Dale Fountain, Cody Leadford, Ronnie Haddock, Josh Jantz, and Bill Hendrix. He was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ, a 32 year employee with Blue Star Ready Mix, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and much loved friend. He was preceded in death by his father, L.C. Leadford; brother, Kenneth Leadford; paternal grandparents, Selma and Ina Leadford; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Ethel Montgomery; nephew, Bradley Leadford. Survivors include his wife, Donia Leadford; mother, Christine Leadford; daughters, Amanda Leadford Phillips and Jennifer Leadford Bunch (Troy); brother, Bruce Leadford (Sue); sister, Carolyn West (Jerry); grandchildren, Jackson Tyde Phillips, Lillian “Lilly” English, and Molly Bunch, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Felix Morris for his love and care.
