Charles Lee Hood, 72, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center Florence, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 06, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Waymon Pace officiating.
Born on October 19, 1951, to Clayborn and Melba Nicholson Hood, Charles enjoyed riding horses, running his dogs while deer hunting, and shooting guns.
Survivors include his son, Michael Hood; one brother, Dwight Hood (Jerrie); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Clayborn and Melba Hood.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends a special thanks to North Alabama Medical Center.
