Charles L. Walley, 92, of Guntersville passed away peacefully on Friday July 12, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
At a young age, Charles began his construction trade with his father, to later become a master builder in residential and commercial work. In his spare time, he enjoyed raising cattle, refurbishing and trading tractors, as well as traveling with family and friends. In his retirement years, he and a group of friends gathered at Jack’s Monday through Friday, for coffee and sharing tall tales.
Charles is Survived by his loving Wife of 65 years: Patsy R. Walley, Daughter and Son-In-Law: Greta and David Prince, Grandchildren: Derick (Elizabeth) Prince and Taylor Prince, Sisters: Patsy (Edgar) Ballew and Mary Swords and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Tammy Lee Walley, Parents: D. and Ozzie Walley, and his sister: Inez Walley.
Mr. Walley’s Visitation will be Sunday July 14, 2024, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Carr Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Walley’s Funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00PM at Carr Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment to follow at Alder Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
