Charles L. Thompson, husband of Mildred J. Thompson, ended his fight on November 2, 2021, after a long battle with multiple medical conditions including COVID-19.

He leaves behind his wife of 60 years and two daughters, Wendy Adams and Tammy Hickman, two granddaughters, Kristen Bourne and Sarah Adams, two grandsons, Clay Edwards and Charles Alan Fann, several nieces and nephews, and six great-grandkids.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Elsie Pence Thompson, his father, James Richard Thompson, along with five brothers, two sisters, one great-granddaughter, Harper Gracie-Lee Smith, and his beloved dog, Sasha.

He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and watching westerns in his spare time. He loved aggravating, reflecting on the past, and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 at Valhalla on Winchester Rd., Huntsville, AL with Pastor Don Russell of Park City Baptist Church in Fayetteville, TN officiating. He will be laid to rest at Valhalla following visitation.
