Charles Kenneth Kocisek, age 66, passed away Sept. 18, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:30 until 4 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Scott Barber is officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Miller Kocisek, of 43 years.
Born in DeFuniak Springs, Fla. and a graduate of the University of Florida, he worked as an Electrical Engineer for TVA for 31 years. He was honored to serve as elder of Muscle Shoals Presbyterian Church for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Annabelle Kocisek; and by his brother, Royce; and sister, Virginia Waters.
Charles is also survived by his daughter, Kendra Campbell (Kevin), of Decatur, Ala.; sons, Ben Kocisek, of Muscle Shoals, and Andrew Kocisek (Mandy), of Sheffield; and by five much loved grandchildren and two nieces.
Pallbearers will be Randall Weddington, James Price, Chad Patton, Josh Bradford, Sonny King and friends.
