Charles Jimmy (C. J.) White, 81, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. White was born on March 1st, 1940, to Hazen Leon and LouElla White.
Mr. White is survived by his wife Oma Lou White; daughters Jane Cobb (Roger), Jean Mayfield (Rex), and Joan Fisk (Jerry); sister Ree Sides; grandchildren Beverly Todd (Jason), Chris Fisk (Alyson), Brandon Fisk (Hollye), Christa Pepper, Jennifer Blanton (Erik), Wes Mayfield (MaryEllen), and Lindsey Kilpatrick (Matt); and twelve great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Hazen and LouElla White; brothers John White and Bobby White; sisters Willene Casteel and Rebecca White; and great-grandchild Molly Kilpatrick.
Funeral services for Mr. White will be Saturday, September 18th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Tony Andrews, Mike Pressnell, Kasey Harbin, and Chris Fisk (grandson) officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 18th, 2021, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers for Mr. White will be Chris Fisk, Brandon Fisk, Jason Todd, Matt Kilpatrick, Thomas Pepper, and Paul White.
Mr. White was a member of Westview Church of Christ.
