Charles Irvin Wilkinson, Sr, age 74 of Dora, passed away Saturday, February 13,
2021 at Brookwood Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his son, Larry David Wilkinson; parents, Irvin Callaway
and Yettie Ruth Wilkinson; siblings, Mildred Cason, Gordon Wilkinson, Hermon
Wilkinson, Freda Lee, Leroy Wilkinson, and William Wilkinson.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Myra Jeanette Wilkinson; children, Buddy
Wilkinson (Rosemary) of Dora, AL, Kim Wyatt (Paul) of Pell City, AL, and Kenneth
Wilkinson (Lorri) of Cordova, AL; grandchildren, Kari Adams of Dora, AL, Michelle
Wilkinson of Pleasant Grove, AL; Breckton, Savannah, and Sarah Beth of Cordova,
AL, and David Wyatt of Pell City, AL; great grandchildren, Tucker and Peighton
Stanley, of Dora, AL; siblings, Glenda Williams (James) of Lawrenceburg, TN; Linda
Faulkner (Donny) of Ethridge, TN, and Jimmy Wilkinson of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the New
Horizon Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until
service time Tuesday. Burial will follow at Bryan Cemetery. Rev. Jack Thorn will
officiate.
