Rev. Charles Houston Gardner, age 77, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Assembly, with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Dora. James Aycock will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Son-Sam Gardner; Great Grandfather-Sam Gardner; Great Grandmother-Alpha Gardner; Father-George Lee Gardner; Mother-Carrie Lou Banks Gardner; Sisters-Betty and Baby Gardner; Great Grandparents-Jim and Myra Banks; Brother-in-law-Frank McCowen.
He is survived by his Wife-Judy Alta Gardner; Daughter-Rhonda Lynn Walden; Son-in-law-Paul Walden; Sisters-Patsy McCowen and Sarah Holderfield (Hairland); Brothers-Clayton Gardner (Carolyn), Eulus Gardner (Rose) and Jeff Gardner (Pam); Grandchildren-Brandon and Brody Walden, Katlyn and Tanner Gardner.
