Charles Henry Jackson- Obituary

Charles Henry Jackson, 87, of Huntsville, passed away on July 11.  Mr. Jackson graduated from Clay County High School, and The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  He served in the United States Army in Korea, and was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant.  He worked for Chrysler Corporation, retiring after 30 years of service, and later worked for United Space Boosters, Inc.  He was a member of Willowbrook Baptist Church and the Grace Sunday School class.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Martha Garrison Jackson, his parents, Henry E. Jackson and Leita C. Jackson, and also his sister Elizabeth “Bette”  J. McKay.

Survivors include his son, C. Scott Jackson (Helen); his daughter, Amy J. Nunneley (Christopher); and grandchildren, Ben Jackson (Maggie), Tanya Jackson, Ella Nunneley, and Jackson Nunneley.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 16 from 1-2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Doug Merchant officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery immediately afterwards.

His children would like to express their heartfelt thanks to caregivers Kathy Worthington and Gala Blackburn for their excellent and loving care of both of their parents.
