Charles Harold Turner, 90 of Athens, passed away on Monday, February 17th, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Turner was born on February 7th, 1935, in Athens, to Thalcum and Ruth Bridges Turner.
Mr. Turner is survived by his sons David Turner and Mike Turner (Debbie); daughter Teresa McDougle (Johnny); 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Roger Turner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Betty Turner; and brother Bobby Turner.
Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be Friday, February 21st, 2025, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Gary Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00-1:45pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery.
