Funeral service for Reverand Charles Guy Claborn, 74, of Moulton will be Monday, August 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with the Reverend Bob Sims and the Reverend Dr. Jesse Reeder officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing with interment in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at noon prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Claborn, who died Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Moulton was born June 28, 1940, in Courtland to William Pickens Claborn and Evelyn Letson Claborn. He was retired and a member of Moulton Baptist Church. Mr. Claborn was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Carolyn Hill Claborn.
Survivors include his wife, Bettye Balentine Claborn; three sons, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell Claborn, Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Avery Claborn, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Leon Claborn; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Claborn, Larry Claborn; and sister, Myra Zills.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth King, Marion Terry, Don Letson, Heath Claborn, Stephen L.
